With energy prices so high people are always looking at ways of how they can save money and one of the simplest ways is to install Solar PV, as the return on investment starts immediately after installation with savings on electricity bills and in approximately 6 years the customer would have payback of their initial investment.
Cost of solar PV has dropped dramatically in the last few years which makes them a lot more affordable. The government has also cut VAT on domestic solar from May ’23.
As Solec Solar are a local company you will be dealing directly with the principals. We are competitively priced and offer a full design, installation and commission by a SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) and a DAFM (Department of Agriculture Food & the Marine) approved installer.
Currently as we head to budget, there is a TAMS grant of 60% of the cost of a Solar PV system for farmers. There is also an Accelerated Capital Allowance Scheme for Commercial/ Business. The ACA scheme allows companies to write off 100% of the purchase value of qualifying energy efficient equipment against their profit in the year of purchase.
